C'mon, Flood. Considering how Clay Travis orchestrated the Greg Schiano revolt at Tennessee, why support this guy?
And kudos to Steve Politi:

LOL. Take your own advice. I still agree with you on some things, though.be better OP
Clay is the man. Nothing else needs to be said
He's technically the reason Schiano is here lol. But yeah it gets annoying how he acts like it's a fact that Schiano knew what was going on in Sandusky land, but I respect the way clay is pushing for college football even though he doesn't have much influence. People get offended by it for some reason.Maybe one thing ...Clay is a dumb pos.
Jeez... when Politti agrees with this board...
But not as bad as a grown man baiting other grown men over politics on a football message board.2020 is so weird. Seeing grown men on a football board advocating to not play football.
Actually it's grown men looking at what a lot of experts are saying and going by that when expressing their views about whether there should be a season.2020 is so weird. Seeing grown men on a football board advocating to not play football.
The entire staff was intact when Flood was hired. Than people started to leave on their own terms. In Flood defense, Schiano took the entire staff except him. Maybe they don't get along. Who knows?
Schiano might have gone undefeated with that team and the coaching staff he had before leaving. Flood ended up 9-4 with an embarrassing loss to VT.In Flood's defense, he won a share of the Big East (with Schiano's players). Something Schiano never did. 0__0
True. That’s how it normally works. Schiano may or may not have missed on his first choices and added staff he was familiar with. Probably hurt him in the end there. Still required Flood to get a whole new staff. The entire staff was intact when Flood was hired. Than people started to leave on their own terms.
Sorry if I was misunderstood. I thought we were having fun with this thread after my initial post. This wasn’t meant to be serious.Schiano might have gone undefeated with that team and the coaching staff he had before leaving. Flood ended up 9-4 with an embarrassing loss to VT.
Flood may have gone undefeated with that team if he had the staff in place that was there before he left and TOOK THEM ALL WITH HIMSchiano might have gone undefeated with that team and the coaching staff he had before leaving. Flood ended up 9-4 with an embarrassing loss to VT.
2006 team was far superior to both those teams. And the results showed that out.Flood may have gone undefeated with that team if he had the staff in place that was there before he left and TOOK THEM ALL WITH HIM
BTW- 2006 and 2008 teams did not go undefeated and were pretty much as talented. Put the 2006/2008/2012 teams on the field to play head to head and that would have been one heck of a battle.
And you don’t think you sound like a whiny rightie?I see two whiney leftys in John and Jeff in the Twitter thread.

Everything is politics with you. Your troll game is obvious.
2006 team was far superior to both those teams. And the results showed that out.
That’s not to say the 2008 and 2012 teams didn’t have moments or tons of talents but the 2006 team won and won big and didn’t have slumps like the 2008 and 2012 teams did.
But what makes 2006 better then 2008 was that 2006 didn’t have a large slump in the year. 2008 was 1-5 and was terrible. It’s not fair to say that in the few games that 2008 played great and compare them to a 2006 team that played great for all 13 games. With that said the last half of the 2008 season we were lights out. When you take the results, yes, 2006 was the better team. But not sure what would have happened if late season 2008 ran into that 2006 team. It would have been interesting.
