I don't post very often as you can see but I had to say this. If was a terrible time to boo and I felt terrible for Laviano and I don't think any fan should boo when it can be interpreted as a boo against one of our players, however, I know the boos were against Flood for his decision not to leave Rettig in for a few plays. He could have avoided the booing by just letting Rettig do a series and then put Laviano back in. As usual he made a poor decision.

It's unfortunate that it has come to this but if Flood remains as head coach I think many fans will move on. This is not just our fan base, it's what happens when you have a poorly run program. You can say good riddance to fans who behave poorly. But this type of behavior by the fans, and Laviano is just a symptom of a larger problem. Don't you agree?

As far as CL is concerned he's only gonna get better....i've grown to admire the kids toughness and spunk...outside of Carroo some of our WR's ain't doing him many favors holding on or adjusting..Teel and Nova had problems until late in their careers..

People say he's stubborn. People say he's a "nice guy." To me, he's got a bigger ego than Schiano ever had. It's all about Flood. If he had half a brain he would have known that rushing Laviano back on to the field after a single play would lead to a rain of boos.

I'm not defending those who booed, but the move was basically leading to a gut reaction. Some seem to think people where thinking about booing Laviano, I think it was instinct against Flood. He had to know that was a strong possibility. If he didn't, he's a bigger idiot than I thought he was.

Cincinnati put in freshman Hayden Moore for many games this season and he did better than veteran Gunner Kiel. WSU can rotate QBs into games and not miss a beat. Only at Rutgers are QBs treated like fine whine (no sp?) and have to sit locked away for years before they are uncorked into our system to produce mediocre results. It's not just the QBs. It's the whole system--COACHING.

And the boos and any defense thereof is still classless.

I was at the game yesterday, and I didn't boo when this happened but I understand the frustration of the fans. If the fans that booed left and supported another team as Chris is asking, RU would have less than 20,000 fans for the game.

Chris made some good plays yesterday but his arm strength (or lack there of) was exposed several times yet again yesterday. He throws the ball up knowing Carroo will make the play. Many of those were Carroo, not Chris. The one pass on that final drive (I think) to Flannegan (sp)...he had to come way back and dive back up field to make the catch. Had he not had to do that he might still be running down the sidelines.

I was there yesterday and didn't boo. But I am not judging anybody that did. And as I have posted multiple times, do not count me in as being at all the games next year nor keeping the same # of tix.

I guess Laviano came out and said something. is that it? If so he should be quiet and use his fake ID to go have a drink and calm down or get to the gym and do 5000 reps of whatever it takes to get another 5-10 yards out of his arm.
