I received the email below from Lesniak's Office last night. We need 10 more guys like this in office -
Recently the Rutgers Senate issued a report that called for curtailing spending on athletics. I have commissioned a study of the total economic benefits that would accrue to Rutgers and the State of New Jersey from an upgrade of our athletic facilities. Preliminary results are very encouraging, as are the recent positive comments from President Barchi, Board Chairman Greg Brown and Governor Christie.
Making our athletic facilities for football, basketball and all 24 sports, men and women, B1G quality will require support from the Rutgers Administration, donors and the State of New Jersey. Demonstrating its positive economic impact to Rutgers and the State will make that possible. The study will be available by the end of April.
