Let's go METS 2016 thread ......Just get in and anything can happen!

And the Yankees will have something to show for this season by trading for great prospects who will impact the team for years to come. The Mets will be left with nothing but the young arms that the organization ruined with chronic overuse. Winning the 2015 NL Pennant and 2016 Wild Card wasn't worth the numerous World Series titles the Mets sacrificed in the process. There's nothing sadder in life than wasted talent.

Tell us something Mets fans DONT know:
-We already know the Mets have the worst Strength and conditioning program and medical staff in all professional sports for decades.
-I already said Joe Giradi shouldve gotten Manager of the Year if they have had made it to the playoffs with the hungry kids instead of being dragged down by the overpriced pricks. Those were great moves Cashman made. What TF else you want met fans to say you conscientious goof?
-If you can tell the future, you should tell fellow Rutgers fans the winning numbers for the next 10 Megamillions so that people can chip in to finally expand Rutgers Stadium and replace the RAC.

Braves always make me nervous. Still do. You forgot John Rocker. He loved the Mets and NY.
I will NEVER take ANY team lightly if I was the Mets (and IRL). Esp vs the teams who tormented the Mets: Marlins, Braves, Phillies, Cards, Cubs, and now Nationals.

You guys are great at predictions. Who exactly is going to pitch for the Yankees next year?

I'm hoping they'll use some of the money they'll be saving with Tex no longer on the payroll to shore up the rotation.

Only thing sadder is a bitter fan .lol. Prospects are just that, prospects. You talk as if they are a sure thing, what a dumb ass. They look pretty good in the face of a playoff push. Let them think about that all winter, how they crapped the bed when it counted.

I was going to post a "There goes the Yankees" thread as a companion thread to the "Here come the Yankees" thread, but alas, it has fallen off the planet, AGAIN,lmao. Their fans abandon their team quicker than a prom dress after the dance.

The pitchers weren't abused, they never pitched deep into games. They had pitch limits and weren't thrown on short rest. They got hurt because that's what happens to pitchers. Did the Yankees abuse Eovaldi?

Uh...I'm laughing, not crying. And trying to figure out how Scranton isn't on the mets late-season schedule.
[laughing][laughing][laughing][laughing][laughing][laughing][laughing][laughing][laughing][laughing]
You're honestly an idiot about the schedule what was your excuse last year when the mets made it to the World Series, were the playoff teams too easy ?

See...you know I'm right about this creampuff late-season schedule of the mets.
It's why you change the subject to 2015 or call me names or post pictures of your family to make me feel sorry for you.
Why don't you wait until the mets beat a real team before you get all excited ?

OMG....the starting pitcher the Braves are sending out there vs. the mets tomorrow....Aaron Blair has a 0-6 record and get this....an ERA of 8.23. The hurdles just get higher and higher for the Amazins !

Yeah...right. Change the subject Or call me names.
Aaron Blair....0-6 with a 8.23 ERA.
Go get 'em.

This jackass keeps talking about Scraton but dont want to admit that other than Syndergaard and Colon the rotation has been the LV 51s for at least a month or two. Plus I cant wait for the Hall of Fame inductions for TJ Rivera, Rene Rivera, Kelly Johnson, Alejandro DaAza, James Loney, among other. Fu** man, you got Terry Collins of all people, pulling rabbits out of his ass for the Mets to be winning this year.

Not the Mets fault the Yankees cant beat Arizona, San Diego, and yeah Minnesota.

But hey... LETS GO METS!!! BEAT THE BRAVES!!!!!!!

Talking family again you POS. You should know ALL about creampuffs. That's what the Yankees are.Your team of the future crapped the bed again. Biggest series of the season, a coming out party for the future Yankees and they blow all 4 games. My God, I wish we were finishing the season against the Yankees and NOT the Phillies. You guys suck,my God, any good will you were going to carry into the winter went out the window. Good luck patching a pitching staff and bullpen to go along with all the holes you created for the future. By the way, low life, you deserve any thing your called when you bring family into it. Take your ball and go home. We all grew up with a big baby in our neighborhoods just like you. Oh,Mets are a FULL 3 games better than the crappers, and I figure it will be maybe 5 or six by seasons end, which will come a lot sooner for you. NYC #1 MLB team, and it's not even close anymore.

I wish we were finishing against the Yankees instead of the Phillies. Talk about a cream puff. Imagine them getting all wet thinking they'll ruin our playoff chances. NY Post headlines. Mets sweep the cream puffs to close out the regular season, and setup their rotation for the post season.

Nice run by the mets . If they can get in and win a wild card game they can give the Cubs a competitive series . Remember anything can happen in short series .
Yanks future looks bright . They can round out their rotation through free agency .

The future is always iffy when you rely on prospects, but it can be if a couple pan out. I thought the same with Conforto after he played so well at seasons end and during the playoffs. At this point, in the heat of the playoff run, the Mets young kids are performing better than what the Yankees are throwing on the field.

Good job dodging the question, you'd make a great politician
