Again, don't waste your breath. These excuses only work for him, one way Willie. How many of the mets games this season were played without cespedes, duda, wright, degrom, matz, Harvey, Cabrera, walker and Flores ?

Correction, 18 inning without scoring a run. I can see why there's so much excitement building for next year. Oh,is that 2 1/2 games better and counting Buddy?I see the team of the future is working on a nice streak of 16 straight inning without scoring a run.[cheers]

No but Tampa last night,lol.Hey....we weren't playing the Phillies tonight.
Telling you that those 5 games that this idiot bumbemled away probably cost the Mets a shot at the division. They would be around 2.5 behind Washington right now.I still think Collins overmanages in September. The fact that you can make a lot of moves doesn't mean you have to. But when they all come up sevens, it's tough to criticize.
Like the Yankees did last year vs Houston."Press ahead" to losing in the play-in game or (at best) getting swept by the Cubs. Enjoy!
Good thing Yanks were not playing Phillies, last year lost 2 out of three. And i don't want to hear that happens in baseball, you lost to the Phillies last year. If the Mets played better vs the Braves they might be 4 games behind the Nationals.
Just be thankful you're playing Philly, the Marlins, and Philly again down the stretch instead of Toronto, Boston, and Baltimore. And that the competition in the NL for the wild card spots is so weak.
Did you send that Thank You card to the schedule-maker yet ?
Yup they had their chance right in front of them. You couldn't ask for anything more. How'd that work out Kbee? Best team in NYC buddy?Yes! I did last week! Funny how I heard Yankee fans whine that the reason they can't make up ground for the wildcard is they don't have enough games against the teams they have to play.
Then in turn their ring for beating the weak San Diego Padres in 1999 WS.Just be thankful you're playing Philly, the Marlins, and Philly again down the stretch instead of Toronto, Boston, and Baltimore. And that the competition in the NL for the wild card spots is so weak.

LOL, I guess he forgot about that too, along with his brilliant Chapman and Reyes comparison.Like the Yankees did last year vs Houston.
Nope, doesn't work that way with the Yankees.Them turn their ring for beating the weak San Diego Padres in 1999 WS.
How about you score a run before busting on the Mets, OK? Oh my, the team of the future has gone 33 innings without scoring a run, unreal."Press ahead" to losing in the play-in game or (at best) getting swept by the Cubs. Enjoy!
I don't get it, wouldn't you want to face the teams your chasing down the stretch to gain ground? Who did you guys face the last 3 games, Drysdale, Koufax, and Seaver?Just be thankful you're playing Philly, the Marlins, and Philly again down the stretch instead of Toronto, Boston, and Baltimore. And that the competition in the NL for the wild card spots is so weak.

This, from the team of the future that has shown it's fan base the last 2 weeks beginning with the Red Soxs, what lies ahead for next season.Sandwiched around Tampa, the only team they could beat when the season was on the line.27 scoreless, when they were on life support. Impressive.Tough night for the Mets motormouths. Mets lose, Cardinals win, and the Nationals clinch their 3rd NL East title in 5 years thanks (mostly) to Daniel Murphy. OUCH!
Yup, it's going to be an adventure no doubt, but I'm hoping for the 1st WC since my son got us 2 tickets for that game if the Mets get the home game. What has turned out to be a MAJOR plus, and something we would never have had the balls to do down the stretch is play so many young kids. To see how they've performed under the bright lights has been nothing short of inspiring. Going into the off season it will give Sandy a better idea of what he needs and who to package or not at the winter meetings. Most teams NEVER have the chance to see so many rookies, both everyday players and pitchers shine during a playoff run.Down 10-0 after about 3 innings last night. The pitching injuries and illnesses certainly caught up with them last night. They are gasping toward the finish line even with the schedule. Every night is an adventure. One more week to go! All on the road after today.
Yes, you said a mouth full. Hope you get to see a win, which they desperately need. Have a great day, enjoy.Welp, going to Citi for the Home Finale. Heres hoping for a win before they finish on the road.
This homestand has been a microcosm of the season: win enough games but lose the WTF games that may have cost them the division. Yeah injuries have slapped the Mets like an Acela hitting a tresspasser crossing the tracks. But the Mets hve been winning despite the managing, coaching, and medical expertise of TC, Tim Tuefel, and Ray Ramirez. Does not help that d'Arnaud, Bruce, among others has not help the Mets
Goimg with my boss, another big Mets fan. Im sure well stay all the way through this time. Last time I went with the Grandkids who tapped out by the 6th inning lol.Yes, you said a mouth full. Hope you get to see a win, which they desperately need. Have a great day, enjoy.
That's terrible news. He was a great player and nice kid. Watching him pitch was special.Fernandez dead in boating accident. How sad. Marlins heads will rightfully be elsewhere. That guy was a stud. Great pitcher.
tico, you saw a great game today. How about those young future Mets showing how to perform under the hot lights of a playoff chase. Bodes well for the coming seasons.
