Yes but have you seen their schedule? The likes of UT San Antonio and Army and Navy

Can't fault BYU's schedule. As an independent they had to cobble together a schedule at the last minute.
Their original schedule was pretty good.

Original schedule - Utah, Minnesota, Arizona St., Missouri, Stanford, Utah St.
Replacement teams - UTSA, Western Kentucky, Texas St.,Louisiana Tech, Troy, Navy
