Lindsey has stepped down from the HC position, effective immediately.

With this news, it will be interesting to see who steps in as coach. Lots of young talent their to build off of and the state of Minn is producing plenty of top notch HS recruits.

Since the B1G is emerging as one of the premier conferences along with the SEC and ACC , this Golden Gophers job is a pretty enticing one.

Lindy La Rocqueis the UNLV WBB HC is someone worth watching.
Only 33 but 41-16 in her 2 years there
Tammi Reiss of Rhode Island is another that might be ready to move up.
Megan Duffy Marquette's WBB HC is the one Minnesota might go after

I know that they have played like crap since she was picked as coach. She does not have the personality to coach young ones.

League is going to be a REAL monster in the next few years with all these good coaches. USC, with the top HS prospect added to a current tourney team, along with UCLA will provide more roadblocks to the top of the conference. This new Minny coach has the resume that makes me believe that she will make them a formidable team. It's gonna be very difficult to be in the top tier of this conference.
