Athan had a really good game. Our defense plays even just average, we win this game. Duff, Miller, Strong and Dremel all had good catching days. Monongai did his thing.
Bienemy’s play calling completely outclassed our DC. The missed tackles were the icing on the cake for them.
I know we have a ton of injuries, but that was a defense that reminded me of Rutgers 2022. If you recall the Maryland game to end the season, Tagliavoa tore us to shreds. Our offense couldn’t do a thing that day so the score wasn’t close. We made no adjustments that day, and none today.
Only gets harder from here. I honestly don’t know why we didn’t have tighter coverage on their wideouts. We haven’t been able to get to the QB all year. Very disappointing to see us playing well off the line.
