Averages 60+ points per game, has lost a bunch but played in 3 overtime games already, and beat Fordham by 8 just last week. We are in for one

If we lose to Maine or Columbia, I’m off the Pikiell band wagon. PS I don’t think we will lose either game. But if we do, watch out.

As opposed to football, in b-ball at least we have some young players who are truly more athletic than we’ve had in the past and appear to be a base to build around.

Today’s loss is inexcusable, but there is hope for 2019 and beyond unlike in football.

The program must beat Maine. I think they will come out blazing and win by 15-20.

People on this board need to lower their expectations for this team. So many young players with a lot of upside. I agree the Fordham lost was horrible and this team was not ready to play. Look around college basketball and you see bad loses like this every night. This team is still learning their roles and a lot of them are 18-19 years old playing Div 1 college basketball for the 1st time Honor single handily hit some unbelievable shots from deep to beat us. We didn’t put them away when he had the chance and that is something Pikes needs to instill in these young guys. One big problem I see is this team does not have the offensive firepower to come back when we get down by double digits to any team. Better days will come. It just sucks when we all have waited so long for a winning program.

What is worse...
Losing to Fordham and beating Iowa by 5
OR
Beating Fordham and losing to Iowa by 1

There are 30+ games. The result of 1 game is not catastrophic and the result of a single game is not a litmus test.
