Maryland v. Syracuse, Cuse 72-70

Terrific game. Kevin Huerter was hitting shots from DOUBY range. Maryland missed a lot of foul shots but got out toughed and killed on the offensive glass by Cuse. Battle , the NJ kid, was the difference down the stretch for Cuse. Both teams were within 4 points of each other all night. A ton of ties and lead changes. Terrific early season game and if game was at Maryland they would have won

MD is young and will be very tough by season’s end. Turgeon can surely recruit, but I’ve never been impressed with his in game coaching.
