Just how good do you think these guys will be next year with their great additions? Are we talking likely 1-2 seed? 4 seed? Lower? Do you think they top the B1G?

The men and womens team at Maryland probably will be ranked in the top 5 preseason.

I'd guess 2 or 3 seed. Their guards are phenomenal, their bigs are talented but untested. Yes, I think they're clearly tops in the B1G headed into next season. I actually think it could be a bit of a down year for the conference other than MD. Wisconsin is out of the picture with the losses of Kaminsky, Dekker, and Jackson. Ohio St. loses Russell and some other key guys. Michigan St. is always good but loses a few studs in Trice and Dawson. Iowa is losing two of their top guys as well. Two teams that should improve are Michigan and Indiana, but they won't be at Maryland's level imo.

Maryland's mens team will certainly be preseason top-5. In fact, Maryland (or UNC) will likely be preseason #1 in the country when the polls are released.

Maryland's women are usually ranked in the top-5 to start the season. Lexie Brown, one of the Terps' star guards, is transferring from the program to be closer to her family. We knew moving from the ACC to the B1G would cause issues for recruits and their families. Lexie's family in Georgia just doesn't have many opportunities to see her play in person now. Brenda's bringing in two really talented McDonald's All-Americans, but I don't know how far the voters will drop Maryland after the Lexie transfer.

Read one article that had them favorite to win it all above a Duke at number 2.

They should be very good but Dez Wells made an awful lot of big plays for them. He'll be very hard to replace.

I know Wisc loses some great players but Bo Ryan just doesn't have bad teams. I wouldn't bury them just yet .

Purdue IMO is poised to take a big jump. Ditto Illinois-----picking up excellent transfer Big from UNC-Charlotte.

My sleeper would be Northwestern------have alot of guys back and lost an awful lot of close games.

During the Terps last NC run I couldn't believe how much older and more mature the members of the Maryland team looked compared to players at other schools.

Goodman's list is pretty good...there will be another 7 teams out of 14 in the NCAAs from the big ten this year...and 3-4 teams under them that are pretty darn good but just in the wrong league

I think the B1G is going to be better in 2015 than 2014. Maryland and Indiana will have better teams. Yes, Wisconsin drops off, however, Purdue's frontcourt is going to be awesome. They just need to find a PG with Octeous leaving. Also, Ohio State's 2015 recruiting class is ridiculously good with 1 5 star kid and 3 4 star kids. Michigan State loses Trice and Dawson, but Deyonta Davis comes in and Bess, Clark and Forbes are going to get more opportunities. Also, Tum Tum is going to get better driving their train.

They will be very good. A one seed will be there's to lose.
