Men’s Lacrosse Hosted St. John’s on Tuesday

Looks like Paolatto's injury wasn't nearly as bad as it looked coming off. I expect they will limit him tomorrow with the idea of him playing on Sat.
Funny. I just posted on the QB thread on the football board about learning the lesson from Dylan Molloy and the 2016 May Madness,

SJU seems to struggle on defense (giving up 13.3 gpg) so this should be a week for Rutgers’ struggling offense (8.1 gpg and only 5 goals in each of the previous two games) to get going.

Meanwhile, Rutgers’ defense is only conceding 7.7 gpg and hasn’t given up more than 11 goals in any one game all year. SJU is averaging 10.86 gpg, but that has come against a weak schedule (wins over NJIT and Quinnipiac, and losses to Delaware, Hofstra (OT), Jacksonville (OT), Fairfield and Bryant).

I will be very disappointed if this isn't a 14-8 win for Rutgers.

This is what, the 8th game of the season and this is probably the first they've had really nice weather. That is rough.

1-1 after two turnovers. We take another shot without changing levels. Easy save.

Dang, I didn't know this was so early. Should be a good chance for Rutgers to work out issues and get back to playing Rutgers Lax...

Prepare the be disappointed.

And you have to admire the balls Rutgers has charging $17 for a midweek 3 pm game.

Obviously you’re never going to get a big crowd on a Tuesday in March but there might not be 200 people here.

We've won all 7 FOs but we have 5 TOs, mostly unforced.

Ball movement looks better today but need to clean up the errors.

That’s a lot of money you to watch D1 sports lol?

Kelly with a finish. Guys these days make it harder than they r needs to be playing so one handed.

Sommer. That’s three good looks. Love the takes but he takes very easy save shots. Low to low.

Use the earth’. Bounce it in the crease.

Shooting is getting better today. Not just on the scoreboard but fundamentally

Much better ball movement today and getting better looks. But also finishing the looks they get. More operating the offense from the X too.

We are getting opportunities from a broader range of real estate than we normally do, hopefully it is a result of changes we made and not St. Johns being less than.

Offense is playing with confidence and the ball is spinning. The difference today is shooting. We are taking more more difficult shots to save. Over hand and underhand level changing.

Best half of the season so far.. More of this please.

A great 2nd qtr. Shooting wasn't so good in the 1st Credit Paolatto making it difficult for SJ to get on a run early.
