The Men are in NC playing in the Old Town Collegiate hosted by perennial Top 25 Wake Forest. 36 holes today and 18 tomorrow. RU and PSU are the 2 B1G teams in the field of 12.

Wake Forest has a long history of players to go on to win on the PGA Tour including Jay and Bill Haas, Curtis Strange, Lanny Wadkins, Scott Hoch, Billy Andrade, Webb Simpson, Will Zaratoris, Cameron Young and of course the King, Arnie Palmer.

The women are in Colorado for the Golfweek Red Sky Classic. RU is the only B1G rep in the 20 team field from all around the country. They will play 18 holes today, tomorrow, and Wednesday.

The Men's team finished the 1st Round in 8th Place with an Even Par 280. They improved in the 2nd Round with a 3 Under 277 which put them in 6th Place going into tomorrow's final round. Rutgers was led by Xavier Marcoux's 5 Under (69-66) which puts him T4 in the individual championship. The 66 was highlighted by 4 birdies on his back 9. RU will be paired with Wake and PSU in Round 3.

The women did fare quite as well standing 12th out of 20 after a 1st round 294 (+6). Rutgers was led by last weeks Co-Champion Leigha Devine's 2 Under 70 which put her in a tie for 5th, 3 strokes behind the 1st Round leader.

The Men had a crazy up and down day today, Xavier Marcoux's co-championship not withstanding....

First 7 holes - Team 7 Under Par
Next 6 holes - Team 8 Over Par
Last 5 Holes - Team 3 Under Par

Consistency lol.

The -2 moved RU up 1 spot into 5th Place for the tourney.

1. Kansas State -12
2. Wake Forest -11
3. Furman -9
4. PSU -7
5. Rutgers -5

For Rutgers....

The Women are still on the course out in Colorado.

Rough day for the Women's team. In fact it was rough for more than half the field. 12 of 20 shot 10 Over or worse. Somehow Pepperdine (9 Under) and Colorado (Even) were the only teams not over Par.

Rutgers stayed in 12th after a +14. Even the usually steady Leigha Devine was +9.

After 2 Rounds

T21 Lucrezia Rossettin +3
T34 Rikki Nordvik +5
T57 Leigha Devine +7
T62 Maeve Rossi +9
T84 Nicole Ewing +15

Pepperdine -12
Colorado -1
Fresno St +5

Rutgers +20

Final Round today

The Women finished T13 (+28) in the 20 team field. No member finished higher than T48 (Leigha Devine and Rikki Nordvik at +8). Lucrezia Rossettin was T52, Maeve Rossi T60, and Nicole Ewing T76.

Pepperdine ran away with the title, shooting a team -16. Kennesaw St finished 13 strokes behind with a -3, and Colorado was 3rd at +7. Closer to home Delaware was 9th with a 3 day +19.
