Michigan Roll Call!

That's the equivalent of a Sniper Check in a combat zone...

Officers never want to be saluted outside of garrison because sniper's like to get their money's worth and would shoot the highest ranking person. lol
. I was going with the assumption that the indoor seats were protected by bulletproof glass.....

Oh I'm expecting the Best of Everything. I'm also hoping to toss popcorn or something on the proles for my amusement. Heathens.

See my last post in this thread...don't stand too close to the Missus if she wears her crown...

For the record, I've been working on my Pope/Miss America wave, so be on the lookout down below. I'll probably drop a couple of dollar bills on the proles, since my money is no good in the Club Seats. If you see me wearing a tiara next to a blonde, you'll know that it was Mr. Screw's turn to go to the private bar and get the perfectly aged wine (he won't have to carry it, mind you--the little people do that).

at Knightfan2000 - i still haven't gotten my tickets yet. Need 2. email me at foads9 at yahoo dot com

I'd rather carry it myself than have to rub elbows with the... ewww... staff.

Currently visiting UM family members in Grand Rapids. We'll be driving to AA on Friday and staying near North campus. Our tailgate of about 20 will have at least 3 RU alums ( all of whom traveled great distances from states otter than NJ ) , 6 UM alums and 2 current UM undergrads.

I attend a game in the Big House every year. RU game was the easy pick this year. Unfortunately, this team is an embarrassment, but having so many friends and family together will help suppress the misery of the game. Been waiting a long time to see RU in the Big House. And this is what we get.

Fire Flood Now.

I'm flying on Friday. Not expecting a competitive game but will enjoy visiting my old RU roommate. Did not make it there for the bowl game and promised to get up there finally for this game. I hope they have beer in the stadium as I will need to be anesthetized for the game!!!

Four of us are flying in and staying with RU alumni friends that live in AA. We're going to tailgate with his U of M coworkers somewhere but I'm not sure where. All are looking forward to seeing a game in that stadium but understand, as some have said, that the seating (or standing room) is terrible. I've seen the stadium from the outside and agree with another poster that it's completely unimpressive from that view. Never left a game early but this could be the first time if it all goes south early and badly. We're gonna hope for at least a competitive showing.

Made a call--turns out you just tell the the servant to press the button and the wine is brought. On scarlet-covered silver, of course.

Section 2 Row 25. Flying into Detroit Friday night.

Love that it's a 3:30 game!

Well, I purchased my four tickets online on October 18 through the school, the Loyal Son that I am. As of today, I hadn't received the tickets. I called the ticket office and they informed me that they were never shipped. I have to pick them up at visitor's will call the day of the game. I ask for the seat assignments and find that they're in section 10, which is not, as far as I can tell, the Rutgers section. Section 10 is behind the end zone. The seats are the polar opposite in quality to Mr. and Mrs. Screw's. If this game is anything like the Ohio State and Wisconsin game, I will probably be grateful for the poor view of the playing field. I will guarantee one outcome in advance: I will be three sheets to the wind by game time.

That was us. LOL. We were also the ones who failed to bring jackets on that unseasonably cold day. I will check out the Golf Course for parking as well. Definitely bringing jackets this time around.

You and your Wife made some darn good Bloody Marys from the back of your Pickup Truck at SMU. It was sleeting and freezing in Dallas that day. I think it will be dry in Ann Arbor, see you on the Golf Course.

My son is a grad student at U of M, so I have had this game marked on my calendar for a while. A 330pm game allows for some tailgating. Does anyone recommend a particular parking area? I saw one recommendation for a nearby high school. Plan on hitting the town Friday night and hope to run into a few RU guys.
Pioneer HS, across the street from the stadium. There's a lumber yard om S 5th Ave. by Hill St. that has parking; added attraction, you will be right next to the band practice field.

Trust me, it is a really, really cool place.
I have a buddy who played db @ UM a couple of years ago,who offered to set me up with primo seats.I would go if Rettig were getting the start.Staying home now.

funny thing, our seats is the big reason we are going to this game. We were originally supposed to go to Wisconsin then stay the week out in the area touring around but decided to ditch Madison and keep Ann Arbor because our seats came directly from Jack Roth and, well, we knew they would be awesome. It was too good a deal to pass up.

Driving out Thursday with my wife and daughter. My daughter went to RU undergrad and U of M for grad school. Definitely go to Zinkermans to eat. Great sandwiches and the best brownies. Also Amy's for breakfast.

Just got my hair cut for the game (Hiedi, my hair stylist, went to a #1 and buzzed me). All of which means I am prepared to wear the tiara when Mr. Screw presses the button for the wine to be brought to our seats, and I come in close with (by then) Queen Screw for a selfie. I am not above pressing the button for a selfie, but I'll probably be a little fatigued after it. Will prop my feet up and resume waving to everyone below once I've had my massage.

Some responsibilities at home prevented my attendance and sold my seats

Get us a win

Driving out with 3 others for the #KyleFloodFarewellTour. I told my friend we should have done Bloomington this year!

You are all true loyal sons and daughters. No one can't ever say you are not hardcore fans.

The spectacle of watching the flood Knights get fed to the Michigan Wolverines who want to get revenge for last year.. will not be pretty.

Hopefully, this will be the final blowout of the year.

Been to BH quite a few times, never had a really bad seat. Because it is built in a hole, from the outside it looks like its 20 ft tall, completely unim-pressive.
