Of all the frustrating things of late, the disappearance of Nigel Johnson is tops on my list. Somehow he needs to get his confidence back because he can ball. With confidence and swagger, I'm confident that would translate to some better decision-making. I'm ok with most if not all of his long-range shots of late, meaning his stroke, when he's taking them in relation to the shot clock, they seem in rhythm, he's stepping into them, etc. Besides not going in, ha... they're fine and not forced. But his midrange game has vanished, and his decision-making when driving to the hole is terrible. Needs to NOT leave his feet when he sees 2-3 guys collapse on his drive.

Come on Nigel, you're better than this. Your buddy C is getting his finally... time to start complimenting him with your own buckets.

It's almost all mental with this young man right now. Tough to watch. We need his scoring ability. Maybe we should go back to early OOC lineup with him coming off the bench. Maybe start Mike instead.

If we simply had guards and 3 men who could shoot, and therefore space out to the corners, Nigel would not turn the ball over while penetrating.

The problem then is how can Nigel impact the game if he can't create positive plays on his dribble penetration? Not sure what to do with this one. I THINK, coach tries to adj by giving Williams more minutes, but he can't defend these atheltic guards as well and picked up two quick fouls against Indiana. I don't know what to do here...

I don't know nigel's past. i do know the rotation on his shot is all wrong. Outside of Tim Hardaway I don't know any shooter that succeeds with left to right spin.

Corey is the only player we have that can pull up and shoot a mid-range jumper. That's pretty sad.

He has a great midrange jumper he just needs to pull up and shoot instead of trying to go all the way inside every time

I think ( hope) this may change soon....he was benched against Indiana after an ill advised foray to the basket. He has the quickness to get into the lane but not the height and strength to finish near the rim. He needs to pull up.

On a side note.....Sanders can finish better at the rim because he can jump high off of 1 foot. On the other hand, Nigel Johnson is a 2 foot jumper.
