Pikiell is the real deal. I firmly believe he will have us in the NCAA's in three years after this season.I think this is an important note to make that in Year One, that while we are rebuilding, we have shown progress from the last three years.

The seating for the RAC has been reduced to 8000.Big time NJ recruits have to realize that Pike is a top-level coach.
They should want to play for him and rep their home state.
With a good team, the RAC will get packed, with 8,500 loud screaming fans, it will be a nightmare for opposing teams.

It's very easy to see the difference between Pike and EJ.
Funny how the Pen St crowd was so docile and basically disinterested today.
Not too many @ Pen st care about their hoops team.
The football rivalry has a lot of juice/hatred but not in the basketball.
The atmosphere at the RU/SHU game was a zillion times better than today.
For all you fans who want a generic multi-purpose arena. Be careful what you wish for.
A new arena can be done right, see Pitt.
Who is saying we need an new all purpose arena? We actually have expansion plans to turn the RAC into a more modern arena that can seat up to 12,000+. Personally, once we start winning consistently and start selling out 8,000 seats, that should boost season holders and and then like our football stadium we can move forward with plans to renovate and enlarge the RAC. And it makes sense, especially since the new basketball practice facilities will be adjacent to it.No ice or hockey at Pitt. Exception rather than rule.
We don't need a new RAC. We need a few guards and a wing that can score and defend.

Or at Penn State. No ice or hockey at Pitt. Exception rather than rule.
We need the new facilities to get the players. How do you think GS turned the corner? We don't need a new RAC. We need a few guards and a wing that can score and defend.
It's basketball, every team is 2 or 3 players away.I know it's been said a lot the past few years (and most of the time, very empty), but we're truly 2 or 3 players away from being a very solid to good team. The foundation is there - hussle, determination, defense, rebounding and etc. We just need the talent.
The four star center coming in is a great start and a pure PG can only help. Very exciting times.
Elite teams rarely are two or three players away which is the reason there is separation between the haves and the have nots. It's basketball, every team is 2 or 3 players away.
Simply put, but totally correct. It's basketball, every team is 2 or 3 players away.
This gets debated all the time, but I hope we NEVER get rid of the RAC.
If the time comes (i.e., if there is a need, and the $ to make it happen), upgrade it, renovate it, whatever you want to call it.
Just don't replace it.
It can be a deadly weapon.
