Isaa always spots up from the corner. That's his shot. But if he were up higher, off the wing, he'd have more room to back up a step making those closeouts more difficult and allowing him to get his shot off.

As the tallest SG in the country, getting his shot off shouldn’t be an issue from any part of the court.

Theoretically speaking, if Issa could consistently hit those longer threes this is a great idea. Drop Mike Williams into that vacant corner and he can hit open threes from attention drawn to Issa, cut to the hoop back door, and attack the glass as he likes to.

Would also be interested to see a little Corey-Issa pick and pop. It might confuse the defense once or twice a game to leaving Corey unguarded going to the basket, or giving Issa a huge size advantage and not having to worry about getting blocked if the defenders switch.

I think Thiam had only 3 shots last game ,two were 3 pointers .He plays lots of minutes and has the potential to help the offense if there was better ball movement to get him open for the 3 pointer or the hook shot in front of the basket.

Ball movement is not important if you listen to some here......lol

On a Serious Note....Thiam is doing a little more this year. Drives into the lane, he had a nice baseline line drive and layup a few games ago, he is rebounding in traffic and even has a few put backs. His game is starting to develop into other areas instead of standing at the 3 point line and waiting for a pass.

Another year of development in the weight room and he may just be a full fledged SF with a full arsenal of moves and shots.
