The truth of the matter is that the MSU game is our bowl game. Two 2-7 teams meet on the field of battle to determine who can salvage some measure of success for the year. If we can win, our fans should storm the field and tear down their goal post! This would be an epic win for the ages! Some may call it a Toilet Bowl, but I think this win would be bigger than our wins against the Mighty Michigan Wolverines and the Cheating Louisville Cardinals! This will be the cornerstone win that will lead to championships during the next few years!!

There's no way for Michigan State to salvage anything in a year when they started ranked in the top 10 or 15 and lost the first 6 conference games. as for us, I guess a win would be a little bit of a good sign but solid visible progress on the field regardless of outcome would be a victory.
