Myles Mack gets his NBA shot

Here's hoping he becomes the next isiah Thomas (celtics) or Nate Washington. Ya never know, small tough minded scoring guards sometimes find a role, just like the two I mentioned

Loved Myles - have a hard time seeing him in the NBA, definitely a pro overseas though.

any news on how the tryout went?

Information is usually not released for these tryouts.
It was more of an evaluation-tryout before the NBA Draft and only for each team's eyes.
Teams use these to measure talent for their Summer League and NBDL squads as well.
Only the NBA Draft Combine - which Myles did not get invited - has information that is a little bit more public.

C'mon, bro.

I do think KJ could potentially be a bench player at one point. He has size you can't teach, decent skill. His downside is that he doesn't know what game best suits himself(or EJ didn't know) and that he is pretty slow minded on defense a lot of times. Most NBA teams don't play defense even 70% of the time so he would be okay there. Size and skill based though, I think he would have a shot on a bench down the road.

Makes sense. I hope he gets his shot.

Myles reports that "everything went well" and that the Nets treated him "awesome".

Congratulations to MM on breaking the NBA ice and going for his dream!

being a Nets fan, I'd love to see them take him in the 2nd round but that's wishful thinking. I think he has a decent shot to get invited to their summer league roster and get signed if he plays well however. Wish him the best
