Since another poster started a thread attacking our sacred Pizza Pie. I thought maybe we could name some of our favorite spots for him to try when he comes east next season with his Huskies.

I will start it off with my two:

1. Federici's in Freehold.

2. Ralph's in Nutley.

I have to admit that the best pizza I've ever had was a place called Zios in Omaha...rest easy though, the owner is a NJ transplant...i have never had anything close to it. I count it as a jersey pizza joint!:pizza:

Delorenzo's in Robbinsville
LMB in Brooklyn
Patsy's in Manhattan, by NYU

Pizza House in Cranford. Just be forewarned that the service is horrendous there. It's like they know they have the best pizza, so screw you.

My mouth. No wait, just saw a better place.

Growing up:
Miele's - doesn't serve pizza anymore.
Star Tavern

Currently:
Rocco's - Bedminister

Some of my favorites in no order.

Federici's
Porta
Nomad Pizza
Denino's
Delorenzo's

Let's just go to Dodd's Crest in Orange and listen to Kinderhook Creek

West Orange.

I believe there's a plaque at my old hang out spot there. They wouldn't make any $ off us these days so we better bring others along lol.

Dodds, Dodd's Crest, Osprey, Leggetts. Sure helped keep them in business for a long time.

Another vote for Patsy's - any of them, doesn't matter. They are remarkably consistent.

My mouth. :cool2:

Okay:

- DeLo's
- every other joint that serves "tomato pie"
- Grimaldi's Hoboken
- Giovanni's Hoboken
- Federicci's
