Espn releaed their early top 10 ranking and the Martin twins are returning to a top 10 team in the country. Quincy Douby's former NBA coach Eric Mussleman has built a big time program out there and they play an exciting brand of basketball.

They are playing Loyola Chicago in november in chicago and that should be an interesting rematch of last years Elite Eight.

They are going to be really good. They brought in some of the best grad transfers including Trey Porter and they landed McD's AA Jordan Brown and that is BEFORE the Martin twins decided to come back. In fact they now have 15 players committed with only 13 scholarships. Going to be interesting how they figure that out.

But in terms of roster depth and talent, they are going to have a roster good enough to compete with anyone in the country regardless of the fact that they play in a weaker conference. Put it to you another way, if you put them in the Big 10 next year they would be the favorite to win the Big 10 in my book.

I did read they had gotten some more studs. They were not very big last year. The new kid, Brown, is 6-10, but slightly built. Should be fun. Expect to see a lot of Musselman and his wife on TV this season.

Yea they went from a team that was really good 7 deep now they are going to be really good 11 deep with scoring from everywhere, and with some additions they now have someone over 6-7

Hard to have a roster sometimes with 11 good players and keep everybody happy.

There are only so many minutes to go around

Well I’m terms of “keeping everyone happy”

The Martin twins and Caroline will be gone after this year, so I’m sure guys know more playing time will come following this season and if the success continues guys will continue to flock there

It depends how you look at it in terms of size. On the one hand, they started a 6'7" center and 6'7" power forward. On the other hand, they also played a 6'7" PG, SG, and SF. Their 5 players that played the most minutes were all listed at 6'7". In fact, they only played 2 players that were shorter than 6'7".

KenPom lists the average height of their players as 20th tallest in the country last year, but effective height (only PF and C) at 280th.
