New Landing Lane Bridge coming

Drove over it last month. Potholes a foot deep and the width reallly wouldn’t accommodate two SUVs passing each other. Actually appeared to be dangerous
 
What was founded first, Rutgers university or the foundation of landing lane bridge ... forget horse and buggy I think it was built by native americans
 
Wait, so the bridge they rebuilt in 1995 needs to be replaced in less than 30 years?
 
I didn't realize they were two separate bridges: that's a damn good question. Why not do it all at once?
24 years ago that section didn't need replacing + it's part of the canal and has to go thru state historic places/things approval, etc which adds to cost...
