6-10 Pratt CC forward Vladimir Brodziansky visits Rutgers Friday, a source told SNY.tv. He’s also considering TCU and Gonzaga…

he had 18 Points 13 Rebounds and 5 blocks while shooting 6-6 at free throw line back in February vs Deshawn Freeman's JUCO team. Shot 35% from three point line this season
Long Euro Stretch 4, can shoot it. Not sure if he's 2015 or 2016 recruit

He has a connection to Canarias...same as Shaq. Looks like another Shoes connection. The Rutgers recruiting Shark.

Just watched his film, dare I say, Frank Kaminsky lite. It could be tough to beat out Gonzaga.

If he plays like Kaminsky, then this would be a major get. Kaminsky has the ability to play inside and outside very effectively and has major basketball iq.

I like the idea of a tall power forward who can make the 3 point shot and be a force in rebounding on offense and defense.

As of right now, we are at the maximum scholarships for basketball. I have seen scenarios in which the following have occurred:
  • players have transferred out
  • players scholarships have been changed to walk-on
  • players are injured and are no longer part of the team
Wasn't a few years ago one of Syracuse's "star" basketball player was considered a walk-on?

I made a thread about no contributing white players on the team and needing a stretch four. It turned into a bit of a circus but ended with the conclusion that stretch fours are only found from overseas and the suburbs.

The only point I was making was Rutgers needs a stretch four. Having no white players as serious contributors in a long time was just an observation.

Getting this guy would be a coincidental occurrence to that post. Would also proves Eddie reads this board and agrees with me.

You're full of crap but I'll agree that really tall guys that are good shooters is probably a good thing in basketball.

Stretch fours can be found anywhere not just overseas or in white suburbia .
I don't care where from or what color, if a kid can help: I want him at RU.

So what is Kevin Durant? What is Kevin Garnett? Are they power forwards? I'm not ready to call Durant a 3 either...

If we're still recruiting for this guy and still in the mix for Ellison - then another player will be defecting for sure.....I hope not but I'm concerned it will be Greg Lewis....

I still think there is a potential shoe to drop here...sounds like a piece of the puzzle we could definitely use..

If we are actually actively recruiting someone for this class and since I'm a Rutgers fan I'm just going to just assume that something really bad is around the corner: Sanders doesn't qualify or Lewis transfers.

Update: In article about Ellison's impending decision, Jerry Carino says "Sanders is fine" and "Freeman signed his LOI" and speculates that one of the other incoming recruits may not get through RU admissions.

Jerry Carino:

Here's the thing about Sanders not qualifying:

If there's a chance that he wouldn't qualify, why in the heck would we only go after a PG who has to sit out a year? Wouldn't that leave a major gap this next year at the PG spot?

Carino says "Sanders is fine and expected to enroll" in link I just added to my edited post above.

According to Carino's article, Sanders is fine and so is Freeman. So the only other new players are Kejuan Johnson or Jonathan Laurent, since Ryan Johnson, Diallo, and Goode are already enrolled.
