NJ's winningest high school football program is Phillipsburg. Who is the last Phillipsburg HS athlete to play at Rutgers? I recall Phillipsburg sending players to Pitt, Notre Dame, Navy, Clemson, and Syracuse.

let it go....who needs them. Now we should reject them unless they ask nice. Who says we NEED them...we've done alright without their help.NJ's winningest high school football program is Phillipsburg. Who is the last Phillipsburg HS athlete to play at Rutgers? Not sure if anybody since but Scott Vaughn transferred to Rutgers (maybe from Clemson?) must have been late eighties.NJ's winningest high school football program is Phillipsburg. Yeah i remember that and was excited about him....i liked when Union HS's Albert Smith and Brian Sheridan commited to....loved Tyrone Stowe too out of Passaic HS.Not sure if anybody since but Scott Vaughn transferred to Rutgers (maybe from Clemson?) must have been late eighties.
Forgot about Ned. Worked with him for a couple years. Really nice guy but he played at ND in the mid to late 80's.In 2003 P'burg had a player go to Pitt, Brandon Mason, a pretty good RB. Before that Larame Furman was pretty good, but think he wound up at Stony Brook. Ned Bolcar was the most notable player back in the 1990s, he went on to become an All American at Notre Dame . They have a tackle, Marinelli (sp?) might be a D1 prospect as an OL, not sure.
P'burg is much more known as a HS Wrestling powerhouse. They have Brandon Paetzall coming to RU to wrestle next year.
