RU knows who they will face in the Elite 8 if they beat the Connies in Round 1...Maryland. Terps beat Albany 2-1 in the first game. Bad weather today in CP might give RU an advantage with the rain.

Congrats on making the tourney ladies! Tough to take on defending champs.

Still broke a 32 year drought to get in, and future looks bright!

The inability to score goals is a common result in sports like soccer and field hockey.

FYI - we were 21st nationally in team scoring at almost 3 gpg...we just got beat by a more talented, much more experienced, team/program.

Seems to be a pattern in RU Olympic sports—some real quality, but not enough to quite be elite. Great season though and hopefully this can be a building block to get to that next level!

Maryland beat UConn in OT to earn a trip to the Final Four. Like Nuts said, team just needs to get more experience. The good news is once you break down the door to get in the first time, it becomes a lot easier to stay there. That'll happen with mens lax in the spring.
