The Scarlet Knights are in the midst of their best season in program history, accomplishing a number of milestones, including three Big Ten Boat of the Week nods. Rutgers received its first-ever weekly conference award last season, and topped that total this year with two honors for the varsity eight and one for the varsity four.

Rutgers also earned its first-ever ranking in the CRCA/USRowing Coaches Poll as well as team victories in Doc Hosea Invitational and Women's Eastern Sprints. The Scarlet Knights posted ranked wins throughout the season with the varsity eight defeating then-No. 20 Duke, No. 14 Syracuse, No. 15 Minnesota and No. 13 Harvard.
