No. 17 Rutgers Field Hockey Travels to Ann Arbor to Face No. 10 Michigan, Longwood

No. 17 Rutgers field hockey leaves the friendly confines of Piscataway for the first time this season, heading to Ann Arbor, Michigan for the first road trip of the year. The Big Ten Conference opener comes on Friday night, as RU takes on No. 10 Michigan at 7 p.m. That game will be live streamed on BTN Plus. On Sunday at 11 a.m., the Scarlet Knights face Longwood in a neutral site matchup.

No. 17 Field Hockey Takes First Loss at No. 10 Michigan


No. 17 Rutgers field hockey took its first loss of the season, falling 3-1 at No. 10 Michigan. Daphne Groothuis scored the lone goal for the Scarlet Knights, who fall to (5-1, 0-1 Big Ten). The Wolverines (4-3, 1-0 Big Ten) outshot RU 16-5 in the contest.
