RU defeats Sparty in OT, 3-2 to start 1-0 in B1G play. Gotta fry some chicken on Sunday when UDel comes to town next.
RU scored the tying goal on a blast by Puck Winter with 5 minutes left in regulation on a penalty corner.
RU scored the game winning "Golden Goal" when Iris Langejans was awarded a penalty stroke about 7 minutes into OT1 and she buried the free shot in the upper left corner of the net.
Really good comeback win on the road, and Rutgers had the better of the play throughout, but went just 1-12 on penalty corners.

Yes, good comeback win, however, this team's skill level is no where near that of our teams over the last few years. But a win is a win. GO RU!
FH wins a shootout with Delaware, 5-4. Maybe the team is finding their offense? Hopefully it isn't at the expense of quality defense. That said, the team is now 5-3 and 1-0 in B1G play. Signs of turning things around.
I'd love to see RU keeping more NJ talent home. They don't offer a ton of elite in-state players.
