Monmouth should be the easiest game of the 3 to date, with or without Ace. They've looked terrible. Blown out by Sparty and Temple, and a fairly comfortable win for Northern Illinois against them last night.
Richie on the latest TKR podcast said that Ace had a hip flexor issue, that keeping him out for the first two games was precautionary, and that Ace was likely to play on Friday.
Monmouth was an excellent team (28-8) in 2015-16. It was on the bubble and probably should have been invited to the big dance. The Hawks won at UCLA and at Georgetown, and also beat Notre Dame and USC. They lost to Iona by 3 in the MAAC title game.
