we really filled needs in Mathis and Harper. Wanted Mac, as he would be a Real nice long term depth piece, but I think we sign a 2019 PG much better who is our future starter

For next year We need carter...a beefy low post four that slides right in to Freeman's spot as a 10-12/7-8 guy for two years while the young big guys start to grow up

Dixon and Santiago are priority for 2019

Those two former the.nucleus of major class

Didn't they already graduate about 20 years ago?

Santiago?

(W.) Dixen was only here for a year and I think Santiago was given a code red.

You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that wall, you need me on that wall. We use words like honor, code, loyalty. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon, and stand a post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to.

Nicely played.....

It might sound like sour grapes but MacClung seems to have a bit of a "circus side-show" element to him. I'm not saying if it's legit or just my perception, but I'm wondering there would be some "baggage" eventually.

Reminds me a little of the Kwe Parker recruitment.

McClung might prove to be a good one but also is a gamble as far as I'm concerned. So I'll wish him well and not worry that he left.
If G-Town is his destination, maybe he can help them get back on track.
Seems like the Hoyas have moved down the ladder of success the last couple of years and need all the help they can get trying to climb back up.
Erving is a well known name and good reputation as a pro assistant , but needs to prove he is a good HC that can develop the talent he recruits.
Louie Orr might help him do just that, but McClung might need a lot of improvement to be the type of help G-Town needs and that might not happen right away, judging by the offers he received.

Rutgers need help as well, but I feel a good front court player will help more than
McClung would, though he might have after gaining a year or two of experience at the major college level.

The wayoflife poster is either MacClung’s family, friend, or coach since the post comes from Gate City. Of course he’ll defend his kid. I wouldn’t worry about it. Just wish the kid well and move on.

If MacClung ends up at Georgetown I will be surprised unless it's a package deal that was mentioned a while ago.

If he lands at GT and if Ewing has a great recruiter on the staff; I think he hired two really good recruiters.....they will probably recruit over MacClung in 2019 with some good DMV players. For GT to be successful they need to get those 4 star top 100-150 DC, Maryland, Va. ballers....especially guards.

Too late for the package deal dream. McCormack committed to Kansas.

Couldnt be happier with this trade off. Leaves us open for some electric guards in 19' while getting a tenured player in for Freeman when he is done on the Banks. Great move by Pike, i would really like ot know the whole story behind the de-commit but i guess thats for the privy.

McClung reminds me of Jarrett Guarantano recruitment ... and look how that all turned out

I think we need to respect a real important decision people have a to make. On a totally separate note....I have never understood the logic of taking a recruit to a game against a school with a brand name and knowing a blow out was going to happen.

His visit or specificly the football game could have had ZERO impact

Social media and the comments/likes on it made the situation even worse. The 17 year old kid jumped the gun. Wish him well and move on.

hmmm...is all of this, from a timing POV, a coincidence? Wish Mac well, but I am happy with this...something we see happen at other schools...
