Can someone who follows closely advise what players will be returning next year and how the pieces are fitting together. It seems like we’re going to be very solid up front but lack the point that stringer loves.

Alexis Morris, Baylor transfer comes in with sophomore eligibility beginning 2nd semester this year.

Just read about her. Hopefully she stays in line. Will be interesting addition here. I get the sense she needs a distributor. Does anyone know who else she’s looking at

Looking ahead to next year, here's where I believe the roster stands:

Posts: M. Davenport (soph), T. Singleton (Soph); Cornwell and Walker (freshmen)
Wings: T. Mack (senior), M. Gilles (senior), E. Lafayette (freshman)
Shooting Guards: A. Guirantes (senior), Noga (junior)
Point guards: Zippy (junior), A. Morris (junior)

The posts will all be very talented and athletic, but young. Zippy and Morris may be able to play together as well, with Guirantes being a 3 if needed (we could see that this year too).

Would love to land a dynamic shooting guard, who could both shoot and slash.

Khadaizha is back ,after being out last year, and Sanders is a true point guard that can distribute

Corwell and Walker would be freshmen next year and not sophomores.

We're in the running still for #6 Diamond Johnson.
From one of the articles I posted above in recruiting, ESPNW said they predict "South Carolina. She has a Philly connection with coach Dawn Staley, one of the great point guards in women's basketball with a national title under her belt. Plus, Staley has the top-ranked recruiting class in 2019.

I guess we'll see!

Thank you for the replies. Following the women’s team for many years and it’s nice to see pieces coming together. It seems like stringer has had success with the prototypical top guard. Here’s hoping she lands her

Yep we will. What kind of vibes, if any do you get when you post over on the Boneyard, or Rebkell? Haven't been over there in some time.
Boneyard has changed. They limited their board to almost exclusively UConn related and created a "sub-board" for general women's basketball, which has a lot of fans of other teams and select UConn fans.

To the UConn board, we are at this time pretty much irrelevant. We don't play them, we are not in a position (at this time) to affect them regardless of how we do, etc. However, when mentioned, for example regarding Viv's leave of absence, you have the traditional Rutgers haters and the vast majority that, if they comment at all, are not "anti" Rutgers.
