EMU up 14-7 at NIU. Halftime. Spread was NIU -7 and I looked at all the pertinent stats before making a call. These two teams are 2-5 and 5-2 but aren't that far apart on paper. EMU has lost 7, 4, 5, 1, and 3, in their last 5 to teams that are 6-2(Ohio), 5-2(Kentucky), 6-1 (Toledo), 6-2(Army) and 5-3(WMU). Not exactly murderer's row, I get it, but ALL bowl bound and each game could have been a "W."
Still should have won, don't get me wrong, just looking at their schedule at halftime and noticed this crap lol!

You take yourself and your letter just at tad too seriously. Lost in your little rant, you fail to realize that I actually liked your letter. I was one of the earliest proponents of Gio on this board, going back to right after Ash was hired. But you are sofa king important in your own mind, you can't take a little ribbing. I am terribly hurt and disappointed I can't be part of your secret forum. And oh, you also missed the major point of this thread - it was intended to be sarcastic. Thank you for your letter. And oh, that was another quality loss by EMU. They are the best 6 loss team in the nation, bar none.

Changing a thread title because it got hijacked and no one was paying attention to your OP is just pathetic. And I really don't care if you liked my letter or not, it WAS read and got the intended results and I was able to post that Gio would be starting 2 full days before the media picked it up. I posted the open letter for discussion, not as a way to flaunting self importance like you do but all you can do is critique people's opinions and try and get attention and pander for likes

I watched quite a bit of the 2nd half and OT last night. If EMU had a better kicker, they would've won. Also had a punt blocked around the 3 minute mark to set up the tying TD. Losing six straight by less than a TD has got to be painful for those guys, and probably close to a record for such defeats.
EMU is an incredibly talented team who by beating RU inherited our curse.
