Vaguely remember hearing something about that awhile ago but didn't think much about it.

Penn State's home basketball game against Michigan will be played in New York City. Odd and desperate on the part of State Penn to give up a conference home game. Even more assinine than Sarahcuse trying to play home football games in East Rutherford.

Certainly odd, even with the double header hockey component. Wouldn't Philly be a much better location ?

If they want even more NYC exposure, they can schedule their home game with us at the RAC. No issues.

This 14 game OOC schedule of Michigan gives them 32 games in the regular season after adding in 18 BIG games. I don't understand as these last few years a team was only able to schedule 31 games total???

I looked at this again. I think the 14th game they are counting is the exhibition vs. Lemoyne where Bielin will coach against his son, Patrick.

Before even reading the article, a hockey tie-in was the first thing I thought of why this came about.
