Hey brother. Mom called and wants to know why you don't return any of her calls. You idiots couldn't raise more than $8000 in fake money, now you're resorting to online petitions? I'd like to fire the fan base.
The path this thread has taken seems fascinatingly similar to the GoFundMe campaign to fire Flood. People post their opinions and contribute signatures and/or donations that are significant in principle rather than sheer number, then after a day or two the the threads get less attention and fall down the list headed toward irrelevancy. That is, until the Rutgers foundation issues a detailed statement decrying the foundation, and posters bump this petition thread just to note how silly, useless, or juvenile it is. Within 36 hours the GoFundMe campaign was on track to raise $10K and was featured in several regional sports media outlets before it was shut down; will the latter also start gaining more widespread attention, just by those looking to stop it. Keep in mind that petition isn't going to just disappear..
Yes, as the Flood supporters point out, it may have no effect. However, without a boatload of money with which I can influence the administration, signing petitions and sending emails is about all I can do. I will not renew my tickets if the administration does not invest in this program and hire a qualified head coach. If they do not, at least I voiced my opinion.
Because now we're reaching the point where anger turns to apathy. Very dangerous line Rutgers is walking and it will grow with every second he is kept as coach.Sad. For all the bitching about Flood, only 130 people took the trouble to sign it.

Why didn't you sign it? It's only a signature, it's not moaning or bitching.Sad. For all the bitching about Flood, only 130 people took the trouble to sign it.
