OT Anyone watching The Young Pope?

It takes a minute to realize the sick sense of humor, behind it all, but I love it so far!

The baby opening left me thinking this was some art show and I stopped it right there. Maybe I should give it another chance?

Watched the first episode, looks good. Got sidetracked with the final season of Hell On Wheels on Netflix

I am. I like it.

But basically it's an allegory for our current white house inhabitant?

Divine coincidence.

Not quite warmed up to it yet, but Jude Law is great and I like that he likes Cherry Coke Zero. I also like that each show's opening title sequence is different.

"To settle is death" is a good mantra. It's also true.

I like the look of the show, how they show the priests milling about, the general atmosphere of the vatican...
and waiting for maybe a misstep by the young pope, which may, or may not come

he has strong opinions on certain issues, but is like a child when it comes to wanting his parents, and his
almost having a girl friend in his youth..... things he cannot let go of

over on the main board most of the posters take a dim view of the show..
