The world's deepest blue hole has been discovered, in the South China Sea, making it the deepest underwater feature yet known to us: 426' wide and 987' deep.

Dubbed "Dragon Hole" aka "Longdong," per the locals. Say what? Prolly should gone with "Deepdong." Forgive my juvenile "summer camp" humor. Let the creative comments begin. . . .
