Cowboys are on par with Carolina and Jax for ineptitude, but they are riding on their overhyped and overvalued brand
I would take Carolina’s trajectory over Dallas’ right now. It appears Young may have been a better pick than he appeared for his first 1 1/2 years.
Can't remember if I heard it on a podcast or read it somewhere but one of the Eagles writers said something to the effect of "Jerry Jones is not an owner trying to win football games, he's trying to maximize the value of his team."

What would he even better is the sports media (the same one that tries to make bronny James a story that isn’t one) starts to ignore “America’s team” after realizing the title doesn’t fit, unless America stands for overhyped, over-publicized, losing, hollow, dysfunctional, tyrannical, laughable, and vapid
And realizes there are whole new group of “America’s teams” to cover instead

To be fair, I leave the NFL Network on sometimes as background noise while I work from home, and they don’t seem to overemphasize the Cowboys in their coverage at all.
The whole problem is ESPN and especially some of their loudmouth talk show hosts.
