OT Coach K in the Kross Hairs

We're talking about Duke basketball and a legend of a coach. If this happened at RU, the coach, AD, president and anyone else they could find would be gone. Like the author says, the team is losing because they don't have coach K, enough said.

Remember the quote about the legendary football coach from Green Bay? I don't even have to give his name here because anyone reading this already knows who I am talking about. From one of his players, "He treats us all the same, like dogs".

My opinion
Duke's play this year will be blamed on Capel if it's bad and this article is the beginning of that blame (Replace Krzyzewski with acting coach Jeff Capel and guess what? That's a step down. All due respect, but Capel is no Krzyzewski)
K made sure Capel had more pressure on him than just taking over as temporary HC by letting aAllen get away with his BS by a suspenion that lasted one game but put more eyes on the Duke program because of it while K watches from the sidelines and makes sure he runs the program while putting Capel on the hot seat for the team underachieving.
When K comes back he'll use the time he was away as an excuse for having an undisciplined team that underachieved, but wouldn't have if he didn't need to get his back fixed and couldn't do everything necessary to keep the Duke program a disciplined and winning one.
Coach K does no wrong, it's others that are to blame

There are thing that are terrific about Coach K, but hypocritical is also on the money. Could never understand how he got a pass (in fact, got positive publicity) for complaining about B1G poaching Maryland and "destroying traditional rivalries," but was strangely silent (or actually applauded) the two raids of the Big East. As if there were no traditional rivalries destroyed.
