Figure this needs its own thread for those who enjoy warmth....Wednesday figures to be a glorious day and highs could reach 70-75. Tuesday will be warm as well but a bit cloudy to mute the conditions but something to look forward to for everyone

Some showers may continue into Monday evening before lifting
out overnight as the front moves through. Temperatures will be
quite mild with lows only dropping to the 40s to low 50s. This
will be followed by near record warmth on Tuesday as a strong SW
flow takes hold. We continue to forecast temperatures above the
model consensus and are generally looking at highs ranging from
the 60s in the north to the low 70s across SE PA as well as
much of the Delmarva and southern NJ. Areas right near the coast
will likely be cooler though.

For Tuesday night into Wednesday, temperatures continue to warm
with record warmth forecast by Wednesday...highs currently
forecast to reach the low to mid 70s over SE PA as well as much
of the Delmarva and NJ. Conditions should be dry for the most
part though by late Wednesday a cold front could bring some
showers in from the west...mainly for eastern PA.

Hope there's no flooding from this: lot of that going on in the midwest right now.

I've played 9 in :59 and once played 18 with a friend in 1:59. Course was deserted in between rain storms. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
Four carts, four players, "Amtrak Round" every other Monday at Colonia CC when I was an Assistant there. No normal golf etiquette. You're ready, you hit. Even off the tees. No running, putts were good within a putter length but you had one "make it" to force another player to sink it normally.
You would get a one stoke penalty if the other 3 guys have teed off the next hole and you havent finished the previous hole. Some other speed rules. Money game. Took just about an hour. This was the second round of the day, first one normal play. From there, off to one of the others courses these guys were Assistants at. Mostly Manasquan. Finished the day paying debts at Neilly's Long Bar. That was one great summer!

Beer, bourbon and cigars are in my future on my day off tomorrow.
Might have to break out the giant smoker. Would have to be ribs or chicken as not enough time for brisket or pulled pork. Days still short and Ill have to get some meat in the morning.
Anyway cigar #1 is lit and beer #1 is open. I have a feeling I'll be a lite sluggish Thursday at work.

I was at Dad's Hat Distillery in your neck of the woods on Saturday. $10 for the tour and 7 pours was a steal. I'm going back up there soon to get their Sweet Vermouth BA Rye, Port Wine BA Rye and their BA Maple Syrup. I'm going to make a nice BBQ sauce with that syrup.

Oh and my allergies absolutely crushed me this afternoon!
This... I’ve come to hate the first few warm days of the year. Runny nose, itchy eyes. I am looking forward to knocking out a this years yard projects though. 6 years in the making, doing a little bit every year, this is the year it finally becomes the oasis.

You should change the title of the thread to:

Global Warming is Awesome!

Holy crap, look how warm it is today (except for southern Cumberland County, where they have a cool bay breeze off the 36F water) - went out to lunch and actually had to turn the AC on. Already breaking records today in Philly, NYC and all over NJ (75F here in Rahway) and might shatter all-time February records in some spots, as per the NWS-Philly discussion below. I love snow, but I also like extreme weather, in general, so this is very noteworthy. I'm sure bac is all oiled up and outside in his Speedos.

More high temperature records are likely today. Here are the
records for Wednesday, February 21:

When is the next snow storm?

It's too damn hot. Pretty comical seeing white zombies walking around today.

My dog (black lab/ border collie mix) actually just cut her walk shorter than usual because she doesn’t like the heat. This is unreal today, though I’ll take this over stupid cold. I also like that after each snowstorm this year it’s been warmer right afterwards so there’s quick melt off/ no accumulation outside of parking lot piles.

March 2 or March 5-10 when the Neg NAO rebounds, or so the weenies say...not sure what it all means, but they are clinging to that time frame. I can't believe that numbers and bac got me reading that board regularly in winter now.

Wow impressive! Pattern is looking favorable for moderately cold and potentially stormy in early March, especially if we get the negative NAO (north Atlantic oscillation - generally a "blocking" high in the vicinity of Greenland, which can often allow cold air to drain down to the NE US to "meet" storms that come up the east coast, if we also get a trough pattern over the eastern US at the same time. Way too far off to "predict" any storm, but projected 8-15 day patterns are often predicted pretty well (but not always, like the last one).

It's over 80° right now where I work in Branchburg.

Early March storms wouldn't surprise me. Didn't we have decent ones two of the last three years - March 13 last year and I believe March 6 two years ago?

March, historically, has more snow than December in this area, so yes, March can be quite stormy (and has been recently). Most impactful snowstorm in recorded history (since 1869 in NYC) is the Superstorm of 1993, which was March 13th.
