I know too many Eagles fans not to enjoy every bit of this win.
I gotta admit they sure made me nervous about blowing the damn thing.
That was a huge win for Big Blue.
Always tough against them Birds. Should've been a blowout really but it wouldnt be Giants-Eagles game lead by the Giants if we didn't keep them around via boneheadedness lol.
Boards been less quiet about Odell I've noticed. 3 wins in a row will shut up the haters
Macadoo deserves mucho credit for actually using the bye to his advantage, switching up offensive game plan and as such they looked way more fluid and less predictable. Run game still needs tuning- look for Perkins to be lead back from here on out. He has promise to be above average.
Defense has balled out. Collins is a definite DPOY candidate. Still iffy on getting off the field on 3rd down but the pressure is starting to get to the opposing QB a bit more and the takeaways are coming. and I should add 8 1/2 fingered JPP is still one of the best all around 4-3 edge defender. His run d is phenomanal.
Schedule gets easier, i could see 3 out of 4 against bengals bears browns steelers before a showdown w/ cowboys at Giants stadium (yup it's our stadium ;) Cant wait

I was nervous when the score was 14-0. I remember when we lost to Philly
in the 4th quarter ahead at by several touchdowns.
Giants are looking decent . Easy sked sets them up to be about 8-4 when Dallas comes in December 11 . The Cowboys look like the best team in the conference. But they had the best team in 2007 too. Get in and anything can happen .
Guess who the "best team in the NFC" has their only loss against? Yup. NYG. I still think the Giants are one of the best teams in the NFC, easily one of the most talented. Their offensive miscues kept them from looking the part in the early going but perhaps the corner has been turned...I still think Dak will pull a wentz and look like the rookie that he is soon enough...
God I love my Giants but just every once in awhile can they win a game going away and not make us fans sweat it out to the bitter end.
Nah. . . . That's just not Giant FB. Big Blue fans must earn those victories. Been a while since a "going away and staying there" game, maybe that 41 - 0 final v the Vikings in '01.

Also, these types of games always happen against the eagles. I'm used to it by now. If by some miracle we're winning in the game late (they've kinda owned NYG lately) there's a slew of crazy plays that go against us and we either win by a hair or lose in unimaginable heart breaking fashion. So happy they hung on yesterday and saw it through!
Cowboys are a much better team than in the first game of the season when they lost by 1 point starting a rookie backfield. Ezekiel is a Beast!!
That 41-0 over the Vikings was shocking . If Darius' dad doesn't get called for a bs holding penalty in the super bowl the Giants go up 7-0 against a rattled dilfer and bad Ravens offense . I think the Giants win that Super Bowl then.
Of course though if they win they don't cut ties with Kerry and fassel a few years later . So we wouldn't have gotten Eli. It's funny how things work out .

As for this season, the team the cowboys will play in 5 weeks will be a vastly different than the Giants team that should've blown the 'girls out in week 1. Btw are you posting from Texas or the Dallas area cRURah?

85 bears I don't think had to go thru Joe Montana theisman or Jon elway the way the 86 Giants defense did. Held San Fran to 3(!) points and shut theisman's redskins out!! 39-20 in super bowl vs elway. They were IMO the greatest D of all time

The 85 Bears beat the SF 49ers 26-10 at Candlestick in 1985. They sacked Joe Montana 7 times in the game.

The big advantage to the Giants is they play Dallas at MetLife Stadium. Beating Dallas in Dallas was huge. The Giants match-up with Dallas well. And Dallas has a very pedestrian defense. The Giants are a more rounded team.
No, it's not bs . The Ravens were a wild card team . The Giants were the best team in the NFC. The Ravens were so offensively challenged that a 7-0 deficit on the big stage would have been a huge difference .
