Minny with better of the play early but RU had best chance but Ciarocca blasted it over the goal rather than chip over the GK.
Minny up 1-0 with 18 left in the 1st. Great play by The Gophers. RU needs to control the ball a little better, in Minny's 1/3rd, instead of blasting shots from 20-yards out.
Great through ball by Minny but Visco should have done better on that. RU midfield getting outplayed badly.
Not playing nearly as smart, or as hard, as we typically play. I'm sure this will be addressed at the half need to not give up another one prior and come out playing Rutgers Soccer.
"squander"? Minnesota is the top team in the conference, and playing at home, not sure how this team can "squander' anything. A "w," by the 7th seed, would be a HUGE upset.

So a Gopher goes down on a clean play, no whistle blown, and we break away with the ball. 5-seconds later the official stops play for the Gopher who is still down THEN awards Minnesota the ball at about 35-yards out. What the f*ck???!!!

No, just a rebound that went right to a girl who happened to be in the right spot on the entire pitch, at the right time, and absolutely nailed a bullet into the net. That's all it was.
