He was a recent feature on HBO Sports. Ewing was passed over many times before landing the GU job. Interesting that so few coaches are former big men from the NBA. Former NBA guards dominate the coaching ranks. IIRC, only 4 former NBA big men have landed head coaching jobs in college or pros.

Not exactly a student of the game.

Actually not too surprising. Space Jam is a favorite movie for lots of these kids. Probably one of the first movies they remember.
