the case wasnt as solid and there was a lot of circumstantial evidence. but his name is hernandez so the lawyers have it easy.

Isn't he also going to be tried in a double murder somewhere up there along with a shooting in Miami?

I guess $40 million wasn't enough to leave the thug life behind. Good riddance.

He will be standing trial for a double murder that occurred in July 2013. Two men were gunned down in a vehicle outside a Boston nightclub after it closed. Allegedly, Hernandz was upset that one of the men had spilled a drink on him inside the club.

He won't endure a criminal trial for allegedly shooting a guy in the face in Florida. The victim does have a civil lawsuit against him. After Hernandez pays his criminal defense attorneys in the two cases, there probably won't be any money to collect in a successful civil suit.

The forewoman of the jury was asked today if she had anything to say to Aaron Hernandez and she replied "Nothing."

The guy thought he could get away with anything, but it's the end of the line for him.

At least 31 arrests were made of members of the University of Florida teams coached from 2005 to 2010 by Urban Meyer.

While at Florida, Hernandez had run-ins with the police in Gainesville,
who questioned him and three teammates after a 2007 shooting and
recommended a felony battery charge against him after a fight at a
restaurant (the case was not pursued).

But Urban Meyer wins big . . . . . . .

NY Times Article

And one of Hernandez' teammates from Florida (another Urban recruit) tweets after the verdict:

"IM CONFUSED ABOUT THE JUSTICE SYSTEM THESE DAYS !!!"

SI did an excellent article on why he was found guilty and besides there being no murder weapon or witnesses, his lawyers admitted that Hernandez was there, pretty much sealing his fate....the defense was goin to prove he was there with footprints, tire tracks, and dna on a blunt, so they felt it was best to admit he was there but didnt pull trigger... Backfired and anyone who says the justice system messed this up is ridiculous
