Hoyas now officially in the running for arranging the softest non-con schedule of any team in a Major 7 conference.

Haven't seen a ranking, but this is getting ripped

They'll need it. Ewing will be another Eddie Jordan as a CBB coach

They won't go undefeated in non conference play either. Would not be shocked if they win just two conference games.

Big John brought this upon Georgetown. They could be bad for a while

No way they win only 2 non conference games. I seen Georgetown play last year. They didn't lack talent..they just didn't play well together. That may still be the case but some of those schools are the absolute worst in college basketball. If they didn't win at least 5 of those games that would be embarrassing for such a storied program

Perhaps you posted this before your first cup of coffee.

Go back and read my post again. Particularly the second sentence. Perhaps even read it out loud slowly so you can hear each word.

@rutger80 You can embed Tweets in your post by copying the Tweet link. Then click on the icon that looks like movie film, paste the link in the dialog box and click on embed. You can do that for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube links...basically any media link and it will embed the Tweet and it will look like this

THAT is a horrific OOC schedule. And does anyone think Ewing looks like the Grinch?

As I said on the Hall site, give it a rest. Neither of us are good enough to take the sanctimonious route.

A) Last season Elon took a team, whose three biggest contributors were sophomores, to Georgetown. The Hoyas had to grind their way to a three-point win.

Since this year's Georgetown team is not going to be as good as last year's, I'm not surprised they aren't playing Elon who should be better than last year.

B) "Neither of us"? "Sanctimonious"? I think you have me mistaken for something I am not. I posted "They're too good for Georgetown to play now," because Elon is.

FYI, Russ isn't "us" but is an analyst for Rivals based out of Florida. And that was a joke (almost as funny as Georgetown's schedule.)
Thanks, but not a joke. I scouted Elon last year in preparation of covering one of their games for another Rivals site. They're a good mid major team -- was one of only six teams to beat UNC-wilmington last season -- and will be better this year than last year. I like the Santa Ana kid. Seibring and Dawkins help form a good nucleus.

The hits keep on coming. Xavier Johnson, anorthern VA kid with a Georgetown offer, is going to commit to Nebraska tonight.

This after two of his official visits (Georgia Tech and USF) were cancelled when those schools accepted commitments from other point guards.
