Will this women and her domineering personality lead to disaster for Belichick and his first attempt at coaching college football? We've seen her hover over and interfere with a 60 Minutes interview, and now controversy over whether she's been banned or not from UNC facilities. She seems to have a lot of involvement and influence over Bill's life, so will her being large and in charge drive a wedge between the coach and the school and derail the whole thing? Will it at least have an impact on recruiting and the players Rutgers is competing for?

Literally no one cares, he's an adult and knows how to run his life. And you shouldn't fall for made up media controversies like what the always slanted 60 Minutes tried to portray about one interaction in an interview that went 35 minutes or the recent clickbait story involving UNC.

I thought UNC with Bill was now a recruiting rival of Greg and Rutgers, whether for HS players or portal transfers. There's a lot of talk about this woman in the sports world, I can definitely see this becoming a serious problem, egos and feelings get bruised easily and have lasting effects, especially when it's personal. Torre quoted a source close to Belichick, "There is deep worry for how detrimental Jordon can be for not just North Carolina, but Bill's legacy, reputation" - hmm...

She's pogo sticking him. She can do whatever she wants.

Dude is a stud. Makes his peogr more desirable
Really? None of this sideshow is gonna help a recruit get on the field, the team win, or develop a player for the next level. It certainly would discourage me as the father of a recruit, and not sure how many mothers this is going to impress - and like Dylan Harper, what Momma wants/likes, Momma gets

Maybe this is a big nothing burger, but these coaches have big egos, Harbaugh left Mich after a Natty over disagreements with management, and Belichick did the same with the Pats after 7 rings. Seems like a rocky start over a girl 50 years younger that has a 73 y/o man going to beauty pageants and literally doing handstands on the beach - wait and see

you just know he's going to hire her as video quality control analyst something or other
If there's any truth to Torre's story UNC won't allow it, may have already nipped this very thing in the bud according to SI, and thus the tension grows

she's busy running for Miss Maine USA

she's busy running for Miss Maine USA
She came in 3rd, last year she was 2nd, so maybe her looks are fading - will Bill dump her now? The Boomer and Gio show this morning said UNC should have rigged the pageant so she won, then she would have been pre-occupied with Miss Maine official duties leading up to the Miss USA pageant.

Wonder if UNC which considers themselves prestigious is finding all this embarrassing?

Didn't we do this already? "We're not talking about this." "No?" "No."

Never tell a hen you love her.

New developments, probably the biggest story currently in CFB, also has implications for Rutgers, just ignore if there's no interest
What are the immediate Rutgers implications that could impact the 2025 season ?

I was kidding, but you also could have bumped the original one hundred or two hundred-post thread to add the new developments.

Nothing for the 2025 season now that the portal is closed, but recruits and transfers for 2026 and beyond. Rutgers is now mining the Mid Atlantic states including the Carolinas for players, were directly competing with UNC for a couple

So there are no implications , if any, for 17 months

No, far from it, they are currently competing every day for 2026 commits up until the signing days, early in Nov and later in Feb. Just a couple months ago Rutgers lost a verbal commit and the #6 player in SC Jaylin McGill to UNC, if things get funky there he could flip back? The portal will be open again in Dec, or 7 months from now.

Let the man do what he wants to do.He has certainly earned it
One of the problems with society...everyone should be treated equally, but there are those who believe some should be treated more equally than others. And even others who believe some should be put on a pedestal and exhalted.

Who's saying he can't? This has nothing to do with their age difference or relationship, it's about UNC clamping down on his girlfriend, including prohibiting her from becoming the Director of Football Communications, and banning her from ALL football facilities. That's not something that happens to the average spouse or girlfriend of a coach. According to the reporter who has an excellent reputation for accuracy and facts, and people close to Belichick, he's not happy at all - make as little of it as you want

If they aren't, they should be. What a joke.

Living in the Carolinas and knowing a lot of people that are alums of UNC or sent their kids there, they consider themselves top shelf and a peer of Duke. So unlike the SEC's win at any cost mentality, I can see this rapidly becoming both an embarrassment and a problem for the school
