OT: Jungle Habitat "where wild animals once roamed free could be reborn as bike park"

There is a Star Ledger article about an attempt to turn Jungle Habitat into a "pay for use" bike park. I have a better way to raise revenue. Put the wild animals back and let people try to bike through the park. The state could charge "spectator fees" to watch bikers flee the lions and baboons. It's about time that the state tried some creative ways to raise revenue.

Yes, just heard a poll on News 12 that say 70% of the NJ population wants casino gambling limited to AC. Park a few blocks away from the casinos on the street and you have similar to the above.

I remember Jungle Habitat. Once took my favorite Aunt (loved to root for RU) and developmentally disabled daughter and a Lion wound up over our windshield and roof.

Not sure if same day or not but saw my first "mini-concert' there with my family and ?-the "Average White Band" "(Pick Up The Pieces" should be a Rutgers documentary this year). There were tickets under some of the seats for the album-had everyone scrambling post show. Don't think nowadays an album giveaway with the outline of a woman's butt would go over well nowadays...
