My Christmas goose came early this year! Get it while you can: 3 stations having their own mini price war or something.

We’ve have a few stations just under $3 near the 117 exit.

Then there is an Exxon a little up 36 that is selling regular for $3.79.

Not a trump supporter but the price of gas in NJ when Biden took office was around 2.40 a gallon. So we’re cheering Biden for allowing gas to go above $5 and is now back within 20% of when he took office? This is bonkers. If he is to be cheered for $2.97 he should be jeered for the policy that allowed it to get to $5

What policy was that?

Gas down because China is crippled-up
Tensions at home

"Global oil prices have fallen about 35% since June as strict coronavirus restrictions in China have kept demand weak, and as some of the world’s major economies have signaled they are heading toward a recession.

That’s helped push down gasoline prices for American drivers."

China stocking-up on tons of gold/food - war prep

I'm not cheering anything just pointing out a weird price anomaly in Passaic County.

Exxon in Pluckemin off 287 was $6.78 last week. Idk how that is legal, or who actually gets gas there.

Telling it like it is will get you labeled as an insurrectionist, a Trumpist and a bad human being. It's the playbook. You can't say the OM did anything good, criticize a single thing the current "President" does/has done, or for that matter question any of those things. You must proclaim 100% loyalty to the MSM and party narrative. That's the way social media works.

Direct from NJ Turnpike Authority. Diesel at $5.29/gallon is insane.

How is that possible
Is there a garage/auto repair attached to this location? Had a gas station in a nearby town, kind of out of the way for anything but local traffic. He was always considerably higher than other stations. Owner explained he was in business to fix cars, higher margin. The pumps were there as a cherry on top. If people were stupid enough to pay above average for gas that was on them. They had to pay for the convenience (his words).

Not being able to have forthright discussions with certain family members and friends is an unfortunate consequence of today's environment. I let one rip (not that kind of rip) in the barber shop today, and it was funny, everyone was with me and like, yeah, wtf was that all about. It was about that appearance last night of the person in cargo pants and a sweatshirt.

When people like Bari Weiss (former NYT editor), Matt Taibbi and Russell Brand are asking questions and ringing alarm bells, maybe it is a sign that more people are waking up and not afraid to at least ask questions about what is going on.

Agreed. Most of my straight forwardness has little to do with politics. I am blunt honest and don’t waiver. Have family members that flounder waffle and are chameleons depending on who they are with. I don’t have time or energy for that.

Now let’s get back on topic. High gas prices suck!!!

May we parlay the high diesel prices into my seeing the future?
Unloaded my Audi diesel in December 2021 before the huge diesel price price spiral. Traded the vehicle I got for a $3,000 over what I paid, and now driving an F150 Lightning, charging at home, soon to be a solar powered home. What is this issue with gas prices?
