OT: Kaitlin Clark

It doesn't help when you have an idiot like Holly Rowe or whatever her name is saying on Twitter - why come down on Angel when it happens all the time in the men's game.

Who said the majority of fans want to see it on the men's side either. These guys are making basic plays and acting like they did something unnatural...lol.

It's very rare if ever a men's team wins a championship and goes up to their opponents flashing signs.

Just really low grade behavior.

Watch a hockey game after a 7 game series of those dudes bashing each others heads in as an example.

Rowe is a liar.

Probably doesn't care. He has a multi million dollar contract with Nike.

She's a women's basketball player. There is no money in that. Being an aggrieved victim, even in victory, is her best chance to make money. And it's working. She has a bunch of NIL deals.
That's unbelievable about Kaepernick, isn't it? I guess Reese is just smarter than me... LOL. Ya’ know, I took one Marketing class at Rutgers. I got a “C” in it, so I obviously was not paying much attention to the professor. However, one thing I learned there is that if you are trying to promote something/anything, you shouldn’t try to alienate part of your possible clientele/audience. But, hey, I’m old and don’t know much. Let them carry on, hopefully to their own detriment at some point!! Go RU!!

In this age of participation trophies, they should invite all 68 teams to the White House.
or to end any athlete from receiving attention for losing, end the Olympic silver and bronze medal recipients from standing on the podium .
They didn't win and shouldn't share in the glory.
Hell coming in 2nd and third shouldn't deserve attention , just hand out the gold with silver and bronze medals being told they can pick up their medals at at the gift shop.

But I can see people not wanting runners up honored and like the first lady
will admit Iowa sharing the glory isn't a good idea.

I have to admit I was kind of hypocritical for feeling a runner up deserves to be honored alongside the winner, I have ranted ( LONG TIME AGO) that the NCAA Tourney should just take conference regular season winners and their tournament champs..
Every other program can hope the NIT invites them to the best of losers tourney.

More NIL offers have apparently been pouring in for Reese since the championship game, and prior to that she already had almost 400K in NIL deals... It's disappointing to know that a significant portion of society apparently views her behavior and some of her more petty comments as being worthy of the utmost respect and admiration. Different strokes for different folks though.

Regardless of her success though, for certain media outlets to vehemently defend her recent behavior by repeatedly stating that she did nothing different than Caitlin Clark did, when the two situations were obviously as different as night and day, is blatantly distorting what actually transpired. Crazy.

Trash talking during a game perfectly OK. Up 17 in the final seconds while following your opponent to do so is classless. It’s just rubbing it in to degrade your opponent. Her and her coach should be ashamed of that end game display.

Agree completely
That type of BS needs media condemnation and not be pushed as an acceptbal action.
Competitiveness during the game, trash talk and some taunting could be part of that .
But when the game is over, with sportsmanship should be the way the competitors should interact

Reese proved , to me, she deserves all the respect in the world for her basketball play, but little to none as someone to respect as a person outside of the talent she has.
