Make sure to look up on Monday night into early Tuesday morning to catch the last total lunar eclipse for the next three years!

Known as a blood moon, it will appear a reddish-orange from the light of Earth’s sunsets and sunrises. At the peak of the eclipse, the moon will be 242,740 miles away, according to NASA scientists.

Totality will last nearly 1.5 hours — from 5:16 a.m. to 6:41 a.m. EST — as Earth passes directly between the moon and sun.

Saw it on my way to work. I forgot about the eclipse, and noticed the moon was full but it was very dark.

Saw it on the Parkway this morning a little before 6.

Looked like the Death Star in "Rogue One"...
