A Summit (NJ) HS football player, 6'1"/200 Connor Cahill, to TCU (Fort Worth, TX) as a walk-on long snapper. TCU was 7th-ranked last year (2015).

Is the Rutgers roster set with long snappers? Going from Summit, NJ to Fort Worth, TX is a heck of trip for a non-scholarship player. Or should we expect a #7-ranked team to provide financial aid even if they do not call it an athletic scholarship? We are talking about a Texas football team here.
Anyone know of local kids who are walking on at distant programs?

Alan Lucy has 2 more years as a schollie Long Snapper at RU.
The Senior QB for Cedar Grove last year (Nick Zecchino) got a schollie to be UConn's long snapper . Of course UConn's HC, Bob Diaco, is from......Cedar Grove :)
